About Estefania Aviles

Born in Mexico City; she started her musical studies at the University of Guadalajara. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Singing from the Conservatory of Castilla y León, studied opera singing from the Accademia d'Arte Lirica di Osimo in Italy, and graduated with a Master's degree in Opera singing from Franz Liszt Academy of Budapest.

 

After her debut as a soloist with the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra in her hometown Guadalajara, she started a journey as an opera singer that has led her to develop an international career.

 

In the symphonic field, she has participated as a soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Mozart's Requiem, Bach's Magnificat, Exsultate Jubilate from Mozart among others.

Within the operatic field stand out her interpretation as Donna Anna from Don Giovanni, Micaela from Bizet's Carmen, Rossini's Armida, from Mozart's opera Fiordiligi from Cosi fan Tutte, Musetta from Puccini's Boheme, Adina Donizetti's Elisir d'Amore.

 

She has performed in Vienna with the Vienna Sinfonía Orchestra, in Hungary with the MAV Symphonic Orchestra, the Pannonian Philharmonic, Szent Gellért Orchestra, Liszt Ferenc Symphonic Orchestra, Mikkeli City Orchestra in Finland, Classical Orchestra of Asturias in Spain, in Mexico with the Symphonic Orchestra of Aguascalientes, Philharmonic Orchestra of Jalisco, Symphonic Orchestra of Zapopan, Blas Galindo Chamber Orchestra.

 

Estefania has been conducted by Janos Kovacs, Toby Purser, Kálmán Zenai, Yoon Kuk Lee, György Vashegy, Hector Guzman, Francisco Orozco, Michael Meisner, Gerardo Rabago, Rodrigo Macias, Guillermo Salvador, Daniel Sánchez Velasco, Ruben Diez.

 

She has been instructed by Carlos Conde, Jesús León, Victoria Loukianetz, Melath Andrea, and attended master courses with Vladimir Chernov, Ramon Vargas, Teresa Berganza, Raina Kabaivanska, Anna Körondi, Andrea Rost, William Matteuzzi, Lella Cuberli, Abenauara Graffigna, Alter Katalin, Anna Paola Molinari, and Alberto Zedda.

 

She is awarded the "2020 Creadores Escenicos" scholarship from FONCA Mexican Culture Ministry. She has been awarded the Bank of China Scholarship 2018, Stipendium Hungaricum (2016- 2019), FONCA-CONACYT "Scholarship Program for Study Abroad“ (2011/ 2012), the University of Guadalajara Foundation and Secretary of Culture Scholarship (2008), PECDA Jalisco (2010), Outstanding Students Scholarship University of Guadalajara (2005).
